All quotations issued by Mrida ResTech are based on the component parameters, drawings, or physical samples provided by the Client. Quotations remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue unless specified otherwise. Any modifications to component geometry, material specifications, or delivery deadlines requested after quotation approval will be subject to a formal engineering change order (ECO).
Optical and laser 3D scanning is conducted with certified equipment (including Creality Sermoon X1 high-precision systems) capable of 20µm – 50µm volumetric accuracy under controlled laboratory conditions. CAD reconstruction adheres to ASME Y14.5 and ISO 1101 standards for Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Color deviation maps are provided to verify conformance between raw scan point clouds and final parametric CAD solid models.
Deliverables are provided in formats specified in the project quotation, including neutral standard formats (STEP AP214/AP242, IGES, Parasolid .x_t) and native CAD formats (Siemens Solid Edge, SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, PTC Creo, or CATIA). The Client is responsible for verifying file interoperability within their internal software environment during the review milestone.
Standard project contracts include up to two (2) rounds of technical review and minor dimension adjustments within fifteen (15) business days of deliverable submission. Revision requests must be logged through the Client Portal or formal engineering email. Substantial design departures from the original scanned physical part constitute a new scope of work.
Mrida ResTech claims zero ownership over Client designs, patented mechanisms, or proprietary tooling. All parametric CAD models, 2D production drawings, FEA simulation archives, and DFM documentation created specifically for the Client become the exclusive intellectual property of the Client upon receipt of final contract payment.
Unless otherwise agreed under an Outsourced Engineering Department (EDaaS) monthly retainer, standard project engagements require a 50% mobilization advance upon contract sign-off and 50% upon final deliverable handoff and approval.
