1. Information We Collect

Mrida ResTech collects organizational, technical, and contact information necessary to evaluate, quote, and execute mechanical design, 3D scanning, reverse engineering, and simulation projects. This includes:

• Contact person name, official company email address, telephone / WhatsApp number.
• Company name, physical address, and industrial sector classification.
• Component geometry files (.STL, .OBJ, .STEP, .IGES), CAD models, 2D production drawings (.PDF, .DWG), and engineering specifications provided during quotations and project execution.

2. How We Use Engineering & Personal Data

We process client data solely for the following technical and operational purposes:

• Preparing feasibility assessments, tolerance schedules, and formal engineering quotations.
• Performing laser 3D scanning, CAD solid modeling, finite element analysis, and DFM optimizations.
• Maintaining project records, version revisions, and First Article Inspection (FAI) reports within the Client Portal.
• Direct project correspondence between your engineering team and our lead applications engineers.

3. Protection of Proprietary CAD & Scan Files

Engineering CAD files and 3D scan data are strictly categorized as confidential customer property. We implement AES-256 encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Physical specimens delivered to our metrology facility are stored in secure, climate-controlled lockers with access restricted to assigned technicians.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

Mrida ResTech does not sell, lease, or monetize client personal data, CAD files, or trade secrets to any third parties or advertisers. We do not subcontract reverse engineering or proprietary CAD reconstruction to unvetted freelance platforms.

5. Data Retention & Digital Purge

We retain project records and CAD revision histories in our encrypted client vault to support warranty audits and future spare-parts revisions. Clients may request an immediate digital purge or certificate of destruction for all raw scan clouds and intermediate CAD files at any time following project closure.
